Andrea Padovani
Each of Andrea's paintings portrays the movement inherent in life itself.
"Whenever I consider a subject I, I have to feel an attraction, a positive vibration that tells me: I am the right one NOW.
Life informs art. My creative vision is realized when light on different surfaces and nature come together to inspire me." says Andrea.
Andrea is a professional artist who portrays elements of the external world in his own unique style, transforming these images into a
harmonious pictorial status. He creates vibrant and dynamic paintings that evoke time, place and mood.
With two studios: one is a loft owned by the Vatican in the oldest part of Verona, Italy and the other in the Lions Bay, British Columbia,
Andrea divides time between two continents bringing the influences of the old and new worlds together in a tapestry of
extraordinary color and design.
"I like candles. The light of a candle is magic. I like the silence. I dream of traveling. Many times when I sit, I paint, I am.
I am the painting. I know where the wind comes from and where the waves are heading.
I know where the sun is and what will come next. And even at night, I like the light, the yellow light shed through the windows.
I love the evidence of invisible human beings, delicate people who are listening to great music in their homes or
sitting on a bench smelling fresh air, or lighting candles."
