Robert Collier

Robert Collier of Rindge, NH has been an active painter since 1976

creating works of art in the Realist Tradition.

His paintings are done in impressionist style inspired by his

native New England landscape.

Collier started painting in oil under the guidance of Richard Whitney,

a nationally recognized painter of portraits and landscapes.

Collier has developed an interest in pastel medium

feeling that the vibrant colors allow greater flexibility and expressiveness.

He enjoys pastel, and archives paintings that are bold

and rich in color, yet soft and fresh.

This interest has led to the study and collaboration

with the renowned Pastel Painter Herman Margulies,

a former Director of the Pastel Society of America.
